Basic Fire Fighting and Drill on Live Fire 3 days Session

First time in the history of PKABB a comprehensive 3 days (11, 12 & 13 May 2010) in-house training sessions were conducted particularly on the subject of "Basic Fire Fighting along with Drill on Live Fire".


In these 3 days session about 85 to 90 employees from all functional levels and from all the facilities in Lahore participated. People showed great interest in learning the basics of fire i.e. classes of fire, stages of fire breakout, type of fire extinguishers and usage of appropriate fire extinguishers on the particular class of fire. Most important and the interesting thing was the drill on live fire which doubled the interest of participants to get the hands on experience of using the different types of portable fire extinguishers.
On the last day of event our Country Manager Mr. Waseem Ahmed also participated in the Fire Drill and appreciated those participants who took initiative and extinguished the fire. After that Country Manager distributed the in-house training certificates to participants of that day.

All the participants received in-house training certificates.
At the end I would also like to say thanks to HR department who successfully organized and top management who encouraged/supported me to conduct such a practical session.
